
Ever started a new year with new fitness goals or a health challenge all fired up, only to wane and lose motivation a couple of weeks in?
We get it! Motivation is about more than just 'wanting to do it'. We also understand that life can get in the way and before you know it you might find yourself off track and further from your goals...or so it seems.
The good news is motivation is really about consistency and the string of daily habits that you implement. Consistency is key! The more you do it, the more you'll want to.
It's about all the steps in between
Motivation is also about more than just getting from point A to point B. If your only motivation is to look better in the cossie, be slim for a big event or see a particular number on the scale then you might get there (by any means necessary) but what happens after that? To keep consistent and hitting your health and fitness goals it's about all the steps inbetween A and B. These are what keep you motivated and on track.
The process is circular
Don't under estimate the importance of these daily habits. Let's also not forget that habits take time but if you are in the right mindset you'll know that there's no time limit...the process is a lifestyle and circular. Never ending.
So, if motivation evades you or you think you've 'stuffed up again' or missed a workout please stop and remember...the process is never ending. You've got time! Be kind to yourself x
